collaboration is ongoing research by Jasmin Schaitl (AT) and William “Bilwa” Costa (US) exploring the correlation between, and the potentials of; transformation, alteration, duration and ephemerality. It combines two practices that incorporate movement, sound, action, materials, objects, the body, and composition.
While in residency at Im_flieger they are focusing on the complex, complementary, parallel, and reciprocal relationship between two artists, and their actions, during a durational performance. Each artist supports the other, sometimes as an anchor, other times as a source of momentum, like a pendulum or metronome.
