Anat Danieli (IL)

is a choreographer whose work spans more than twenty years. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Kelim Choreography Center until 2021. Her work spans the fields of contemporary dance, education, community and the politics of the body.
Anat began her choreographic career in 1990, creating for Batsheva Dance Company, Batsheva Ensemble and the American Dance Festival, among others. From 1994-2007 she directed the Anat Danieli Dance Company. Anat’s works have been shown at festivals and in theaters throughout Israel, Europe, the USA and Japan. She received the Rosenblum Award for Performing Arts in 2007, the Ministry of Culture Prize in 2006, the Ministry of Culture Prize for Young Artist of the Year in Dance in 1996 and first prize in Shades in Dance in 1990.
