self-identifies as a crip or disabled and chronically ill dancer, choreographer and cultural anthropologist. Growing up in Austria and living in London, Tanja has performed worldwide in pieces by Candoco Dance Company, Farah Saleh, Michael Turinsky etc. and is currently touring with Claire Cunningham’s ensemble piece “Thank You Very Much”. Tanja is currently actively committed to intersectional disability justice and pleasure activism in the areas of dance, ableism, access and access & care.
