is a theater director, producer and author and lives in Vienna, Austria. With her group “ortzeit” she primarily creates site-specific works that are based on the history of a place as well as the stories and traditions of its residents, owners or users. In collaboration with the visual artists Andrea Frank and Almut Rink, she explores sustainability and non-anthropocentric models of subjectivity in the form of art-based research. In addition, she has been researching the ritual roots of theater in various cultural contexts (e.g. in India, Brazil or among the Hopi) for fifteen years. As a teacher, she works with actors, artists, scientists and midwives, among others (Austrian State Prize for Teaching 2017).
