Meeting point at 10.00 at the Im_flieger LANDEBAHN (Grätzloase) in front of Bräuhausgasse 40, 1050 Vienna // free of charge

The Wienerwälder Klageweiber is a ritualistic-performative project dedicated to the various aspects of lamentation. They explore the tabooed expression of grief and pain, taking it to the stage within a clownesque framework. On the Im_flieger LANDEBAHN they will explore the public space for the first time. Researching the possibilities and limitation of the street, a part of the work will also be the invitation to the audience and passers-by to participate through sounds, songs and the expression of mourning or to simply listen.
