Being aged or a beginner should not be seen as a limiting condition, but on the contrary the beginning of an exciting research to discover new possibilities.
Dance contains various benefits, it helps maintain health and psycho-physical well-being. Besides fun, dance develops energy, concentration, strength and coordination, changes the relationship with our own body, which becomes more aware and in this way increases self-esteem. It is also a way to express ourselves and create connections with others. By staying active we continue to learn and share.
A conscious training will help us to acquire more body sensitivity, increasing our movement capacities also in relation to space and time but always respecting individual characteristics and the natural capacities of each one.
This course will include stretching and strengthening the deep muscles, strengthening the spine and correct alignment to allow a more balanced use of the body and more coordination. Through playful improvisation tasks we gain concentration and continuous improvement of our tools (body, senses, perception).
