Im_flieger CHANGING SPACES

is a bilateral artist-in-residence exchange programme for contemporary dance/performance initiated by Im_flieger artists initiative Vienna. Artistic research, production, mobility, as well as discursive and practical exchange in national and international cooperation are promoted, local developments are strengthened. An intensive exchange with the respective local contexts is aimed at during the 2 to 4 week working residencies. It is based on the simple idea of spatial exchange and the mutual use of existing resources such as space, organisational know-how and artistic potential. Im_flieger Vienna cooperates with various international and national cultural actors such as artists’ initiatives or cultural centres since 2000. In 2023 we start the cooperation CHANGING SPACES Vienna-Barcelona between Im_flieger and nunArt.
