How can something be held, held onto, while the thing held and the person holding it shape each other and give each other support? Pausing, moment before mouth, holding on, suspension points, pause for thought.
For the Performance Poetry format, Verena Herterich and Dorothea Zeyringer invited two artists to the Im_flieger LANDEBAHN to hold an object for 15 minutes and find their way to language from this position. Following this invitation, the two artists refer to it in their own way.
Sunggu Hong gropes his way along the things that can’t be physically held and yet still seem essential to hold on to, Emilia Lichtenwagner sticks to her drawing.
